Computer Assistant

Project Leader of a team of six individuals all were entry level technicians. We were required to provide a Wide Area network solution with no prior background in Wide Area Networking. This multi-million dollar project required the team to go to the individual sites and setup Local and Wide Area Network connectivity for email and Internet access. This saved JAG a tremendous amount of money, time, and training because they did not have to hire outside consultants to come in setup and implement this solution to all of their offices throughout the world. Status reports, budget items, time sheets, performance evaluations, training, documentation, assigning of task & duties were all of my responsibilities as Project leader of the group. This option was implemented so JAG could have their individual email and Internet access. They were receiving their access from the Pentagon. It was free however it was very limited.

Project Leader of the Disaster recovery team of four members which assisted in the recovery of systems that perished in a fire at one of our branch offices in Washington DC. My team and I moved the branch from one location on the base to another, ensured all communications were up and running, connected equipment and tested successfully for normal operations to continue within that day.

Project Leader of the Disaster recovery team which assisted in the recovery of systems that were damaged due to a flood in the basement of one of the branch offices in the New Orleans area. We assisted by sending two team members including my self to assess the damages, survey the new location, replace equipment and establish connectivity for normal operation within the next two to three days.
